The Runway Belonged to the Cat
The Model Had Already Won the Show
This cat on the runway has no designer label, no soundtrack and absolutely no reason to hurry. It enters a garden of green grass and yellow flowers as if the whole place has been waiting for its appearance. Those yellow eyes are not asking whether the look works. They already know it does. I wanted to upload the photograph, write one sensible sentence and leave it there, but a normal description would miss the point. The cat has turned a patch of garden into fashion week, and we have been reduced to a very quiet audience.
Where and when did I take this cat on the runway photo? I have completely forgotten. It is not new, but the model does not care about dates. It has arrived, taken the light and decided the show can continue without our permission. Maybe the best models do not perform for the camera. They make the camera feel lucky to be present. 😂
