Perched alone on an electric wire, the crow represents both the fragility and the strength of solitude. This photo was likely taken during my visit to the Princes’ Islands, possibly on Heybeliada, near the picnic area along the walking path, just to the right where the outdoor exercise equipment is located. At least, that’s how I remember it though it might be another place.
I definitely enjoy photographing crows, as long as my equipment allows it. This one was taken with my good old Nikon D90 and the 18-105mm kit lens. Yes, I still use the same gear. Honestly, I haven’t been shooting much lately, but I’ve always had the idea of upgrading. Moving to the mirrorless side and of course, staying with Nikon. I’m pretty satisfied with them. The Z 50 II seems more affordable for me. I’d love to pair it with a versatile 28-400mm lens, and a 105mm macro lens, which would be fantastic for portraits too.
As of September 2025, I’ve mentally already spent 150,000 TRY. 😂
Z 6 III isn’t bad either, right? And what about the Z8 or Z9? Any thoughts on when the second version of the Z9 might be released?
