The Forest Before the Fox
The fox looks perfectly at home in this dark, quiet forest, but it was never really there. This fox photo manipulation begins with a photograph I made at Atatürk Arboretum, then changes the color, crops the frame, and adds a curious red fox to the scene.
The original photograph is just below. It is brighter, wider, and completely empty of wildlife.

Seeing the two versions together is what makes the transformation fun. The same autumn forest shifts from a peaceful walk into a small woodland story. I like how the darker tones and the fox's upward glance give the finished scene a little mystery. It may be a composite rather than a wildlife encounter, but this fox photo manipulation still makes me smile. Maybe one day I will photograph a real fox in the forest with my own camera. 🥰
If you enjoy before-and-after edits, the next preview shows another playful experiment: a crow photograph where I added a dolphin in Photoshop.
Take good care of yourselves. 🥰
