An Inverted Lake Reflection Becomes Another World
The date was November 4, 2012, and I had owned my camera for about a year. I was travelling, taking photographs as I went, and each new frame felt a little better than the last. This inverted lake reflection at Yedigoller made the sky, clouds and autumn hillside feel as if another world had slipped beneath the water.
Take lots of photographs. I think it is the most effective way to make your photographs better. Take lots of photographs. An inverted lake reflection does not need a complicated explanation when looking longer keeps revealing new leaves, branches and light.
I say that, but I have no new photographs at the moment. 🤪 We were stuck at home because of the pandemic, which sounds like a line from a film when you say it out loud. Not being able to leave home. Wow.
Let us see what else we will discover.
What ordinary scene has looked like another world when you turned it upside down?
