Seagull In Flight Over The Coast
Seagull in flight is one of the most recognizable sights along coastal landscapes. With its wings fully extended and its body perfectly balanced against the wind, a seagull can appear almost motionless as it glides through the sky.
This photograph captures that moment from below, offering a unique perspective of a seabird in motion. The clear blue sky creates a clean backdrop, allowing the shape, feathers, and wingspan of the bird to stand out without distraction.
Watching a seagull soar effortlessly above the coast is a reminder of the freedom and beauty found in nature. Simple moments like this often become the most memorable photographs, revealing details that are easy to overlook in everyday life.
This time, I’m going to do something a little different.
For many years, I shared my photos exactly as they came out of my Nikon D90. No editing at all. If I remember correctly, that only changed a few years ago when I started making some simple adjustments before publishing.
The truth is, I’m not particularly good at photo editing. When I see the incredible edits that some photographers create, I’m honestly impressed. My edits are much more basic and subtle. I simply try to improve the photo a little without changing its original character.
That’s why I wanted to ask for your opinion.
I’ve uploaded both versions below, including the original image straight from the camera. Which one do you prefer? Should I continue editing my photos, or go back to sharing them exactly as they come out of the camera, like I used to?
Maybe when I finally upgrade to a Nikon Z6 III or a Nikon Z5 II 😍, I’ll return to my old no-edit approach.
I’m curious to hear what you think.
