A Small Room and One Stubborn Teapot
This vintage teapot photography frame began with an old teapot arriving in my tiny home studio. Its metal body caught the light, its black handle and lid held the shape together, and the white background gave it room to breathe.
The room was so small that even setting the lights felt like a negotiation. I photographed the teapot anyway. It was old, the studio was modest, and the result was not going to become a grand product campaign. But it was still a useful frame to make.
Vintage teapot photography can begin with an imperfect setup and a stubborn object. I tried a few things, then eventually stopped. 😐
