What Do You Call This Wedding Decoration?
This artificial flower arrangement arrived in my home studio looking like it had already chosen its own personality. Purple blooms, blue tissue, a pink ribbon, and a seashell all gathered inside one small glass container.
It had been made for my cousin's wedding. What do you even call something like this? A wedding decoration sounds fair enough. I photographed it, then did the cutout and retouching before putting it on the site.
The object was simple, but the colors did the talking. An artificial flower arrangement can be a little formal, a little playful, and still completely ready for a celebration. Sometimes product photography begins with nothing more complicated than asking the object to introduce itself.
