A Blue Boat in the Reeds Keeps the Scene Alive
A blue boat in the reeds is the small detail that keeps this quiet Bursa Golyazi scene alive. Without it, the water and dried grasses would feel heavier, almost too still. With it, the frame has a little color, a little movement and somewhere for the imagination to go.
This photograph was taken about a year and a half after I bought my camera. I must have been travelling well back then. These days I am older, and apparently that part of the story is over. 😁
When I look at this blue boat in the reeds, I let it become a boat made of dreams. It is blue, full of energy and somehow ready to slip away from the gray mood around it. Even when boredom and gloom gather close, the imaginary boat can still move. 😊🧿
I took this photograph in Bursa Golyazi on December 24, 2012. Good days are ahead. Sunny days, too.
What object in a quiet photograph would you turn into a dream?
