A Fashion Week Look with a Striking Back Detail
What holds me in this fashion week look is the detail along the model's back. A raised row of dark fabric shapes runs over the sheer sleeve, turning a quiet side profile into something almost architectural.
The light finds her face and bare arm, then leaves the rest of the room in shadow. She looks serious and entirely inside her own moment. The view from the side makes the outfit feel less like a quick runway glance and more like a secret revealed as she passes.
In 2014 or 2015, I went to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul with the fashion design department at school. I was among the audience, taking a few photographs and looking for the small details that stayed with me after the runway moved on. 😁
That is why I remember this fashion week look. It is the small detail I might have missed from anywhere else. Sometimes one quiet line in an outfit can hold a whole photograph together.
