A Quiet View Above the Water, Away from the Noise
Sometimes a place asks us to sit down for a moment and listen. Here, with my legs crossed above the water, the leaves at my sides and the current moving below, everything felt briefly separate from the noise of the day.
The water was not really this blue. I played with the colours in this photograph until it became a little closer to the feeling I remembered: deep, cool and almost unreal.
A quiet view above the water is not about looking down on anyone. It is about finding a small distance from everything, long enough to breathe and let the world keep moving without us.
That is what I still see in this frame. A quiet view above the water, a pair of crossed legs and a pause that belonged only to that moment.
