Wine and Woman in an Unplanned Photograph
Wine and woman, a dark table, red heels moving through the frame. This was not a planned shoot. We simply said, let's take some photographs, and then we did. The blur is part of the moment.
People sometimes ask how an unplanned photograph can happen when I have a camera with me. For three to five years, I carried mine everywhere I went. It was heavy too. 😂 But it meant that a small idea could become a photograph before it had time to disappear.
The light, framing and composition could all have been more polished in this room. Still, I like that we did not wait for the perfect setup. This wine and woman photograph keeps the feeling of an evening that was made up as it went along.
The friend who modeled for this picture and I no longer see each other. I still think of her as a friend, and I miss her. Nazo, I hope you are well. 🥰 A small note to all of us: when new love comes into life, do not forget the friends who were already there.
