One Photograph from a Long Day of Trying
I took around ten to fifteen photographs that day. This is the only one I kept. So, one trip produced one photograph, and even that may have needed a little encouragement. 😁
Still, I like what this frame gives back. The cold colors, the snow and the brown reeds feel refreshing on a hot day. It is not a dramatic mountain view. It is calmer than that, almost as if the landscape is taking a slow breath behind the grasses.
Looking at this winter mountain landscape, I remember that a photograph does not need to prove an entire trip was successful. Sometimes one frame is enough to bring back the air, the cold and the quiet.
