Sunlight on Her Face, Through a Fogged Window
Sunlight on Her Face takes me back to one of my school days. Earlier that day, I had been out with the Fashion Design group. On the way back, I noticed my friend sitting beside me, with a fogged-up window behind her and headphones in her ears. I could not help taking the photograph. Good job, me. 😂
She is not really a silhouette, even though most of the photograph stays in shadow. The soft marks on the window, her profile and that narrow line of sunlight make the moment feel less like a pose and more like a secret.
I know the framing could have moved a little to the left. Still, I like it as it is. The darker space gives the window room to breathe, while the light finds her face at exactly the right moment.
Sunlight on Her Face is simply a quiet photograph of a beautiful woman on the way home, with the sun washing over her face. 😊
